The TRAF Scholarship Program: Supporting the Future of Texas Rangers’ Families
The Texas Ranger Association Foundation (TRAF) Scholarship Program was created with a mission to ease some
of the financial burden faced by Texas Rangers as their children pursue higher education. Texas Rangers hold
some of the most demanding roles in law enforcement, and TRAF aims to relieve the stress of funding college,
allowing Rangers to focus on their vital work.
Because of the scholarships that were so generously provided by the Foundation Directors and the many supporters of the Texas Rangers, all three of my children attended college and graduated debt free.

The TRAF Ranger Relief Program: Supporting Texas Rangers in Times of Need The Texas Ranger Association Foundation (TRAF) is deeply committed to supporting Rangers and their families through the Ranger Relief Program. Established to provide critical assistance during times of need or crisis, this program ensures Rangers can focus on their vital work while knowing their families are cared for. Since its inception in 2005, TRAF has proudly awarded over $1 million in Ranger Relief, including $193,000 in 2024 alone. Whether addressing medical emergencies, natural disasters, or unforeseen hardships, the program's mission is to help Rangers navigate challenges and return to their duties with peace of mind. TRAF’s Ranger Relief Program exemplifies our dedication to standing beside the men and women who serve Texas with honor, ensuring their well-being and that of their families remain a priority.
In 2025, TRAF will proudly promote the 44th Annual Texas Ranger Reunion. This cherished private event brings together active-duty Rangers, retired Rangers, and their families for a one-of-a-kind gathering that honors the legacy of this extraordinary law enforcement organization.
The Reunion is more than a celebration; it’s a time to foster heritage, pride, and connection within the Ranger family. It’s an opportunity to share stories, meet personal heroes, and forge lasting relationships that only come from being part of one of the most exclusive law enforcement communities in the world.
